STAEDTLER -
With tradition toward the future

STAEDTLER is one of the leading international manufacturers of writing, colouring and drawing instruments.
Since its founding in 1835, the Nuremberg-based company has held strong ties to its location in southern Germany.

For over 170 years, STAEDTLER has proudly emphasised "Made in Germany“ for all its products and combines the traditional with the modern.

As a socially responsible company, STAEDTLER is particularly concerned about the needs and welfare of children.

Our commitment and dedication takes wide variety of forms, ranging from regional sponsoring of student “Poetry Slam” contests, to the organization of international colouring contests, to donations to a non-profit organisation for children.

In addition, the STAEDTLER foundation, founded in 1997, sponsors scientific and cultural projects, including the awarding of lucrative promotional prizes to doctoral candidates for outstanding academic achievement and supporting projects of the Literaturhaus Nürnberg e.V. or the Germanic National Museum.

For more than 2,500 STAEDTLER employees working in eight production facilities and 24 sales agencies worldwide, responsibility and care are also given top priority.
This is expressed in the existing Social Charter, in which STAEDTLER speaks out for fair wages and against discrimination, child and forced labour.

STAEDTLER’s philosophy of "A brand with tradition shapes its future“ describes both the origin and dedication of the company.

STAEDTLER products are known throughout the world for quality, innovation, design and functionality.
During production, close attention is paid to environmentalism and the economical use of resources.
